Terms And Conditions

Entitlement to drive:

Pupil must hold a valid provisional licence, and must inform their instructor immediately if they receive any endorsements on their licence during the period they are receiving tuition. The driving licence must be produced at the client’s first driving lesson, and it will also be checked periodically by the driving instructor. The client must satisfy the requirements of medical fitness to drive, including being able to read a number plate at the prescribed distance. Any medical condition or disability that might affect your ability or entitlement to drive must be notified to your instructor immediately.

Payment for lessons:

Payment for tuition must be made by cash or bank transfer before  each lesson. Cheques are accepted if paying for a block of ten hours.  The instructor will provide the pupil with driving tuition, at the rate per lesson which has been agreed between them. Matters concerning the timing, duration and location of individual lessons are subject to agreement between the instructor and pupil.

Cancellation Policy:

The pupil may only cancel lessons with a minimum of 48 hours notice (otherwise the pupil will be liable for the full tuition fee). In the event of a difficulty outside the control of the instructor the instructor reserves the right to rearrange lessons at short notice.

The instructor reserves the right to refuse the use of the driving school car for the practical driving test, if  the pupil has not passed a mock test.

The instructor is at liberty to refuse to proceed with a lesson if he/she has reason to believe that the pupil is in any way under the influence of drink or drugs at the time of the lessons.

Liability:

The instructor will accept no responsibility for accidents, injury or damage to any third party caused by the pupil’s recklessness or negligence during a lesson.
